I do not hate Christians, but my tolerance for their beliefs is growing very thin. I have no issue with the Christian who has their beliefs and basically tries to live by those beliefs without attempting to impose them on others. What I am losing tolerance for is those Christians who think their beliefs give them the right to impose their beliefs on the rest of society.
As an atheist, I have always tried to be tolerant of others, and their beliefs. But as I watch things like the debate over abortion rights, same sex marriage, and teaching Creationism/ID in science classrooms, I realize I can not be tolerant of those beliefs. In these cases, the believers are trying to dictate the rights of others using their own beliefs as justification. Being tolerant in these cases does not mean simply allowing them to have their way; I have an obligation to stand up for my rights whenever necessary.

Certainly not. Some of my best buddies are christians.
I do dislike many on here that profess to be christians, given their unchristian attitude.
Hate is not an emotion I experience really, I believe it's taught by many religions, but as an atheist I'm not sure I've ever experienced it. For those that others think I should 'hate' I usually only feel pity.

No. I don't hate people. I don't think anyone should be hated for believing what religion teaches. Live and let live, but I wish they would quit being so pushy.

I have close friends who are Christians. They are good people and believe in secularism, democracy, equality, tolerance, scientific method, etc.
It's believers who don't agree with these things that I have a problem with.

Are you implying this question towards Christians? Because then your answer will be quite the opposite to what you're looking for. However to your question then no. Actually I think they are one of the better types of people that this worlds needs desperately.

I am a Christian. That being said, I can say with all honesty there are times I am reminded of a quote often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi.
"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians."
