Help! severe ear pain!?

My ears being hurting for about a week now, but I just kinda passed it off nothing much and took pain meds for it. Last night I finally accepted the fact that it was an ear infection, but it was too late because my ear hurts so bad now. I have wait to go to the doctor because its so early still. I took some Tylonel but it still hurts so bad. What should I do???!!

    You should consult an ENT specialist (Ear, nose, throat) about the ear pain. It could be due to an outer ear infection.
