You are correct. If there is no ultimate Judgment, then there is no need to be rescued from Judgment, and then there is no need for grace, mercy or forgiveness, either, and the sacrifice Jesus made becomes a joke.

Before the gospel existed in the O.T. those who loved God and obeyed him were justified by faith, but now that Jesus died for our sins we must accept him rather than going to eternal death, the second death which turns out to be the Lake of Fire in the end. It's true that if God were not just he would not banish people to punishment. The stakes are high. The whole universe shows the glory of God's creation. It's only the extremely rebellious who deny that.

Well, God is the one who created Hell for the devil and all who sin and do not repent. We spread the good news to those who do not know God for it is a requirement to for us to accept Christ as our Lord and Savior to enter the Gates of Heaven. Here is how I see it, when you have a new girlfriend or boyfriend, or a new Wife or Husband, you want to tell all your friends about that special someone, cause you really love them, this is almost the same thing with God When you have a real relationship with him, your not just spreading the news about God just cause you feel you have to, you do it cause you love God and you want other people to know him, cause you want them to have what you have. When you have God in your life you have new ways of thinking about things, its like more positive in your life. You want people to have that same hope as you do when you accept Christ. So rather or not there was no Hell, which there is, but if there was not, we would still want to share Gods word and who God is, cause its a great relationship

There's karma. karma will come and bite you on the *** if you are cruel to others. Also, isn't being nice to people and looking after the environment, making the world a better place, and enjoying the life you were given enough? Just because there's no hell, it doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. Life will suck sometimes, but there are lots of good things that happen too. Make the most of it, cos you only get one.

Why would Jesus leave out such information as he is revealed in the Gospel of John to be the Word and by and for whom ALL things were created?

When the Bible is fresh water on a dry day than perhaps people do not really know where they are. It is that in the least for me so you can't tell me there is no hell. And you can't tell me that we are not in it right now. So I read the Bible and it is like having a cool fresh breeze flow through my life. No, you are the one who does not know where we are. And if the Bible does not do that for you perhaps you are not so much in hell as to need it.

Everyone will get exactly what they deserve, or God isn't just.

Those of us who won't get what we deserve, won't because the cross is where God's mercy and judgement met to take away my sin and pay the price I owed.
