Help with Steam account?
I created a Steam account years ago, using my old email address, which no longer works. I set up a new Steam account, using my new email address. But I then realised that I can't install Skyrim on my new computer, because the code is still hooked up to my old account. But, I can't access my old account because the email it used is no longer valid. So, in short, is there any way I can access my old account, get the product code off my old account and put it on my new account or something? I don't want to have to pay for Skyrim all over again, after I already bought it once....

2 AnswersMovies7 years agoSomething other than riddles for a scene in my story?
Basically, the main characters are kidnapped by monsters that want to eat them, with the exception of one of the characters, who is hiding in a bush/tree and pretending to be a "tree spirit" or something. She has to come up with a way to distract the monsters to free her friends, so I figured she could try play a game or something with the monsters. But, what could she do other than riddles or something similar (which i think is really overdone). Is there anything more original anyone could think of? I've thought of eye spy or something like that, but I'm still stuck. Plus, the character has to be hidden the whole time, so that the monsters don't realize she's tricking them. I would appreciate any ideas.

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoHow do i make my story flow better?
I'm having a bit of trouble with a fantasy story I am writing. I have heaps of ideas and plot elements, but I'm finding it really difficult to incorporate them all, keep the story flowing nicely, stick to the kind of "style" I'm aiming for and not make it long-winded or cheesy. I've tried planning out what will happen chapter by chapter, but I still get stuck. I've pretty much got the ending and beginning sussed out, but the middle is a complete mess. Any tips?
6 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years agoIs Eragon really just a rip off of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, or is it worth reading?
I've been considering reading the first book, but I've heard really mixed reviews. Some of my friends say they're great, others say it's basically a rip-off of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. I watched the movie and I thought it was a bit lame and clichéd, but I don't want to judge the book on the movie alone. From what I do know about Eragon, it does sound very similar to Star Wars (farmboy nobody living with his uncle finds out he's the last member of a group of ancient, magical beings who were betrayed and wiped out; he is mentored by an old member of said magical group and eventually joins the underdog rebel forces to fight against the evil emperor guy who murdered his uncle) with a Lord of the Rings type setting, complete with unpronounceable names, Orcs and hot elf chicks. So, is Eragon really that clichéd, or is it good? Would appreciate your opinions thanks (preferably from people who actually read the books).
7 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years agoWas it wrong of my teacher to say this?
Sorry if this is really long.
Basically, I just started back at school today and I had my first lesson in my new statistics class. I was feeling pretty positive about it, even when my teacher said that he had looked at some of the grades of the people in our class from last year and was going to talk to us individually about whether stats was right for them. I never imagined he would come talk to me in a million years; I took stats last year and got on pretty well; I passed, I didn't find it overly challenging and I only failed one assessment. however, my teacher went up to me part way through the lesson and told me that although I had gotten enough credits to get into stats this year, he felt that I hadn't gotten the credits from the right areas and I would probably struggle with stats this year, and may want to consider dropping out. I was really surprised, but I just sort of nodded and when he asked me if I was willing to work "really hard" I said yes.
It sounds silly, but I felt really upset about it afterwards. The stuff we were doing in class today is pretty much the same as we did last year, I got the credits I needed from stats and the school obviously thought I could do stats this year, as they put me in the class. My stats teacher from last year said she doesn't think I'll have a problem with stats this year and my mum got mad when I told her what my teacher said, saying he was "setting me up to fall" or something. So, was my teacher wrong, or was he just being honest?
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education7 years agoWhy does everyone hate Tauriel so much?
I'm talking about the elf played by Evangeline Lilly in the latest Hobbit film. I know that she wasn't in the book, but why do people seem to hate her so much? I personally thought that, out of all the major women in the Hobbit and LOTR films (which equals a grand total of about four, I might add) I liked her the best. What's so awful about her that makes people seem to loathe her so much?
6 AnswersMovies7 years agoDid anybody else like The Hobbit?
I really enjoyed the Hobbit. I'll admit that it wasn't as good as the Lord of the Rings and I was disappointed that they used CGI for the orcs rather than suits, but I still thought it was pretty good film and I found it entertaining, which I think is the main thing when judging films - did I enjoy it?
I was surprised that so many people seem to hate it. I've also heard a lot of hate for the sequel, which I'm looking forward to watching. Does anybody else actually like the Hobbit?
2 AnswersMovies7 years agoIs the new Disney film Frozen any good?
I've been thinking of watching it, but I want to know if it's worth the time and money. I heard that people were comparing it to the Disney Renaissance films and I was wondering if it was really as good as the likes of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast and all the rest of them. Would appreciate your opinions, but no spoilers, please. Thanks.
3 AnswersMovies7 years agoIs it over complicated to have more than one villain in a book?
I'm trying to write a story and at the moment, I've got two (maybe three) different villains who are working independently of each other, each with their own schemes and goals. Is this going to be too complicated?
5 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years agoWas AvP really that bad a film?
I saw the trailer and some scenes, and I read a bit about on the AVP wiki, and I actually think it sounds pretty interesting. I know it got bad reviews and a lot of people say it sucks, but I was thinking of watching it anyway and making up my own mind. Just so I know beforehand though and I don't set my expectations too high, just how bad is it really? What was wrong with it? Keep in mind that this is the first film I'm talking about with the pyramid in Antarctica, NOT Requiem. Thanks.
3 AnswersMovies7 years agoIs is cliched to write about human/vampire romances?
In the story I'm trying to write, the romance thing is more of a subplot to the larger overall plot. I know it's been done a hundred times, but I wanted to see if I could put my own spin on it. Plus I like writing fantasy and romance.
3 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoDo you think women that hook up with married men are sluts?
There's this woman my dad has gone off with, and my mum and everyone else is certain he started seeing her before they separated. Apparently, she's been in several relationships before and none of them have lasted, and she's known to be a bit of bitch. she was also cosying up to my dad a few years before at work do's and she just ignored my mum. The few times I do mention her, I've called her a slut or a whore. is this justifiable? In my opinion, women that wreck marriages and hook up with married men or men already in relationships are just despicable - they're my definition of a real slut. Do you think it's right for me to refer to her like this, though?
11 AnswersMarriage & Divorce8 years agoDid you think Dawn kind of ruined Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
After Season Four, I felt like the quality of the show dropped quite significantly. I still love the show, but Seasons 1 to 4 just seem to be so much more enjoyable compared to Season Five onwards. I seems like the moment they introduced Dawn's character, things started going downhill. I honestly can't stand Dawn. Every scene she's in makes me grind my teeth and want to skip through the scene; unfortunately, she's in pretty much every scene in Season 5 onwards.
She's just so whiny and bratty, and after Season Five, her character just seems completely pointless. I liked her more in season Seven because she finally stopped being such an obnoxious brat and grew up a bit, but then she just seemed like a younger, less mature version of Buffy, rather than her own individual character. I don't think I would've minded her so much, if she hadn't been so irritating and whingey, and throwing temper tantrums like a five year old all the time in Seasons 5 and 6.
Does anyone else feel this way?
3 AnswersOther - Television8 years agoIf your nails were torn out, would they grow back?
I'm talking about being completely ripped out by, say, pliers or something. I'd like to know, because of this story I'm writing. I planning on having one of the characters tortured by having their nails ripped out, but I need to know whether they'd grow back eventually (for the sake of realism and continuity).
3 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style8 years agoWhat do Wiccans/Neo-pagans worship?
Some people say they only worship a Goddess, other people say they worship a God and a Goddess, some people say they worship lots of different gods and goddesses (like Diana, Isis etc.). So, do they choose which ones they worship, or do they worship all of them? I was just kind of confused by this, so I'd appreciate answers from Wiccans/Pagans etc., thank you.
P.S. Could we not have any silly answers like "Satan" or "the Devil" etc. One thing I do know is that wiccans do not worship the Christian devil.
