Why is wanting to enforce our borders considered racist to some?

If somebody actually said that then they have no clue what they are talking about, what is really going on down there or the kind of threat that an unsecured border actually poses to this country. First off, the mass media in America is playing a dangerous game of Simon Says with the portion of the population that still trusts them. CNN or Fox say "jump" and the whole audience responds with "how high?" Secondly, most people detest the idea of being wrong to such an extent that they would sooner die than accept correction no matter how ridiculous the argument is. If you combine these two things then you have the formula for a chaotic environment where the truth ceases to be regarded as a constant and is instead defined by the majority as a variable. In short, common sense has absolutely nothing to do with it at all because most people will believe what they are manipulated into believing. If you look at history one thing that reveals itself to be consistently true is that real power relies on controlling the accuracy and flow of information.

Only if you want to do the same thing to the Northern border you want to do to the Southern border will I believe you are not a racist. Most illegals arrive with a Visa on a plane by the way and overstay their visa. And 2 million Mexicans have cards that let them drive trucks across the border for NAFTA right now and if they want they will just keep going after they cross the border. The cards let them go 50 miles inside the border. What will your fence do about them? They are our 3rd largest trade partner.

Our Government is comprised of Idiots who think they have to play up to every group that comes along in order to be elected. Some think their refusal to enforce the borders will get them the Hispanic vote. This is the reason for the rush to amnesty and legalization of these now Illegal citizens. Votes. What about what we the people want? After all they work for us.

Because liberals genuinely believe that there is nothing ILLEGAL about entering this country illegally for some reason. And if you dare talk about enforcing existing immigration laws, then you're anti-Hispanic.

If a minority is frustrated in any way, out comes the race card as surely as night follows day.
