What is the difference between a interior decorator and a interior designer?

What is the difference between these? And which pays more? Do I need a degree to do both of these or just one? How long does it take to do these careers? What exactly do they do? Are there any differences between these? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

I think they are exactly the same. There are places all over the world that you can learn how to become an interior designer\decorator. Where I live, it is a two year college course. You want to Google training for interior design as well as you want to contact some interior designers to find out what their credentials are, where did they get their training, do they enjoy their job, etc., and Even contact places that employ interior designers such as new homebuilders or Home Depot or Lowes Because they actually hire interior designers to help you with your home projects. If this is something that you think you may might want to do for a living, I strongly urge you to put a lot of energy into the research so that you can decide if this is something you want to pursue. It is my suggestion that most interior designers do not make a lot of money. This is a big factor in deciding what you want to do for the rest of your life. If, for example, most interior designers earn $35,000-$40,000 per year salary, You might want to rethink your decision. Good luck doing your research.
