Good or bad for the customers and employees?

More dogma driven bulshit, from the party that brought us cheaper utility bills and cheaper transport, through theft of public property.
The Royal Mail catastrophe will result in charges to have mail delivered (on top of the postage costs), particularly for people who live in rural locations. It might mean loss of the daily service for some too.

Really bad for EVERYONE!
The whole agenda for many years now has been to implement a programme of privatizing everything so that the 1% (figuratively speaking) can rule the world with an iron hand behind the anonymity of multinationals who will soon have (perhaps already have) more freedoms and rights then people. They can't do it openly so they operate in a world of covert secrecy to cause internal strife, breakdown grassroot's education, surveillance of public communications and literally dumb down people's brains so as to create a society that can be easily controlled. Coming back to the question! It would be interesting to see if the queens head remains on the stamp even after privatization or perhaps it should be a picture of someone 'giving head' because that's what we're doing to the financial-industrial complex. But that's 'democracy'!

The problem will be when the new bosses take over they will want to reduce the workforce in some of the depots. The CWU will kick off and strike ,business will be lost to e-mail etc and everyone will be the loser. In the major depot where i work they employ about twice as many people as they actually need and also give overtime to postmen even when they are not needed due to some 1960's style arrangement.I just don't see how it will work but something needs to be done.

I have no idea or views on if it will be good or bad. What I am horrified at is the possibility the Queens image might disappear from stamps and our world famous post boxes might go ?
I am utterly oppesed to it. Some things should not be private.

Disgusting, when has privatisation ever benefitted any customers ? Expect higher prices and a poorer service.

Another British industry (albeit badly managed) that will fall into foreign hands and end up costing us a fortune!
