When the 100th Fibonacci number is divided by 17, what is the remainder? When the number 2013th Fibonacci number is divided by 17, what is the remainder?
I have both number, but every time I try dividing by 17, I get different answers. Could someone at least show me what I need to do to figure this out? Many thanks!

Use a calculator which can handle lots of significant digits. See the links below.
F₁₀₀ / 17 has a remainder of 13.
On the link look down for the section labeled "Mixed fraction."
F ₂₀₁₃ / 17 has a remainder of 2.

from the 9th number the remainder of the division by 17 is 0 for even terms and 4 for odd terms
100th fibonacci gives 0 as remainder
2013th gives 4
