mysterious laptop music?
my little sister has an asus laptop and it runs windows 8. I find it confusing but I have been able to work with it. So we were opening this program where you are supposed to make music, but we were having problems because the computer is running music in the background. we have closed everything and the music is still going. it sounds like music from the sims or from an elevator, and we cant stop it. I've opened task manager and everything nothing has helped.

This is a virus. I had to fix it on my mom's desktop. Just run your anti virus software and if it pops up with virus then delete it. If it doesn't download this http://www.malwarebytes.org/ scan your computer. That should find something. If it is still not working and under warranty call asus for tech support.
