So what do you think about this "Ode To The Homeless"?

The streets seem quiet, not even a slight riot...

... for a moment I remembered that my last name is Hyatt -

I got a shotgun loaded, I think a mine just exploded,

... and I'd probably feel remorse if my heart wasn't corroded...

But, ..... I'm livin' life at a 2 foot level,

where some liquor is a God, and night-time is the Devil.

Don't throw out that paper towel box,

because it might make the difference 'tween a pillow and some rocks.

For me, life begins every mornin' I awake....

everyday is a birth, and a new chance to take.

I feel abused and affected, by the people we elected...

... and if it all got inspected, I'd expect it'd be rejected.

But who the hell can you go to and complain,

when the only person listening doesn't even have a brain?

I'm just tryin' like a mug to hang on what I got...

even if the whole shebang doesn't add up to a lot.

So, when you're walking by, and you kick me to the wall...

... remember I've seen worse, preserving freedom for us all.

I may be an old prune now, but I was once young just like you.

So 30 years from now, I hope you ******* get yours too.
