What's so special about Macbooks?

Ok, well this is all personal preference. Then there are some geeks out there saying "ohh mine is beter".

Really, nothing is special about macbooks.

Things that macbooks have better than the average PCs:

Matterials, Simplicity, Battery life, Weight, Everything you need in one package, and Customer support

Things that Windows has better than the macbook:

Choices (pro or con), Can do more, price

Now with choices that means you could have a PC challenge any one of those things except simplicity. I personally have many computers do different tasks. There are pros and cons to that but so is have one computer do it all. I have one computer for Games and heavy tasks, and I have another that can be taken somewhere for internet. Also, Windows and Mac aren't the only players in the game. There is also the chrome book.

It all depends on what you plan on doing with them. I'll try to make a quick list on for what you would be doing.

Gaming--Windows

Internet Browsing(only thing you do)--Chromebook

Running a buisiness--Macs for small buisiness WIndows for big

Video Editing--Look into it more

Music--Windows

Grandma who knows nothing about computers--MAC

A main reason is because its insanely difficult to make viruses for macs. People have been doing it for 20 years on windows so they're vulnerable. On macs the operating system is much more different meaning a completely different virus needs to be written.

Mostly style and build quality.

A lot of the creative apps are better on Mac, or only on Mac.

Many say they can't get viruses and they are incredibly thin. But Windows is my preferred operating system. I do have an IPad 2 and an IPod touch 4th gen. They are both great devices. The IPad is excellent! The IPod touch is also very nice and thin.
