Vine automatically connected to facebook?

So when I look at my vine profile settings, after Facebook it says connected. I never asked or confirmed connecting it. And I cannot click on it to disconnect it or whatever. I don't want my likes to show up on my facebook friends newsfeeds. 1 its annoying but 2, it could be embarrassing. Like I saw this impressive twerking vine so I liked it but if that showed up to my fb friends, I can't imagine what they think. So yeah, can I disconnect my vine and facebook? Do my fb friends see my activity on vine (cuz I know occasionally I see vine likes of my friends on fb)? Thanks!

I have the same problem. I suspect it is because you used your Twitter account to log into and set up your Vine account. Then, your Facebook account is also linked to that same Twitter account (e.g., you have your Facebook automatically posting to your Twitter account). In other words, A (Vine) is connected to B (A specific Twitter account), and B (a specific Twitter account) is connected to C (your FB account), therefore A (Vine) is connected to C (your FB account). I think this is what's going on, although I haven't unlinked my FB and Twitter yet to confirm.

At any rate, even if your Vine and FB are linked, I doubt that it means whatever video you post to Vine will automatically be updated to FB. I think the two being linked just means, IF you decide to share a Vine video to FB, you can.

But I'm so new to Vine, so don't take my answer as definitive.
