Find the points of intersection - Maths?

Find the points of intersection of the curve xy = 6 and the line y = 9 - 3x

PLZ show working and steps description if possible

    x*y=6

    y=9-3x

    x=6/y

    so just where is x in second equation insert 6/y

    y=9-3*6/y |*y (multiply everything by y)

    y^2 =9y -18

    y^2 - 9y +18=0

    quadratic equation (two solutions):

    y1=6

    y2=3

    ___

    insert y1 in x=6/y

    x1=6/6

    x1=1

    insert y2 in x=6/y

    x2=6/3

    x2=2

    so the intersections of the curve and the line are:

    T1(1, 6) T2(2, 3)
