When people overdose on drugs?
This might be a dumb question, but when they say someone overdosed is it necessarily on purpose? Like were the intentionally trying to do so or just on accident? I have a few friends from high school who have passed because of it. they were outgoing guys and always smiling so doesn't seem like they would try to kill themselves.

It's not necessarily on purpose. When you take drugs, your body develops a tolerance to them. Eventually you get to the point where you need to take more of the drug to feel the effects. Eventually you get to the point where your tolerance is so high that the amount you need to take to feel the effects is enough to kill you. This is an accidental overdose.
