Eye twitch for over a year?
My right eye has been twitching constantly (small very fast, twitches) for the past year. Its not large obvious twitches, you can barely see it. It happens on my upper eyelid, around the eyebrow area. I've tried ruling out every possible cause of the twitch as I could. I stopped watching tv for a week, stopped drinking coffee, I haven't been stressed, and I have 20/20 vision with a recent eye exam. I'm getting desperate now to resolve this, its extremely annoying as its CONSTANT. Please help! Any input is appreciated.

I feel for you. I had the same issue and it drove me nuts. Twitched constantly for a year and a half. I tried everything like you did. I did find it worse when I had coffee. Took two weeks of going caffeine free for it to have an impact. How long did you cut out coffee?
It's really hard to say what was causing mine - I still get it here and there (once a week) and seems to be mostly connected to being tired, combined with coffee and possibly alcohol even though I only have 1 coffee a day now.
I found putting a cold compress over my eye from the freezer helped alot.

you could try to relax it because the muscle is probably tense. so soak a clean dish rag with warm waterand place it on your eye. make sure you close your eye. wait for half an hour to an hour before removing it.if the twitches still continue check with your doctor.
