San Antonio- You HAVE to go downtown! It's so much fun! There are a buch of little boutiques ad restraunts and shops to go to. The Tower of the Americas is also another awesome place to go. For some places to eat, try the BBQ at Auggie's Barbed Wire Smokehouse. It's awesome. You can visit the Alamo, the Rivercenter Mall, an anime convention is coming up on August 16th-18th, a trip to Six Flags, Fiesta Texas is always a blast, there are several Missions to visit, and the Botanical Gardens and the Japanese Tea Gardens are nice places to visit.
Austin- I've only visited Austin a few times, but some definite places to go to include the Big Top Candy Shop, McKinney Falls, the Austin Zoo, and see the Congress Avenue Bridge Bats.
