Did my iPod touch 4th gen. just crash?
It was near dead battery, and I walked to find my charger and when I got to it, it had already died. I clicked the "home" button or whatever it's called, usually it pops up an empty battery thing, but it didn't. I plugged it in and it showed the tiny sliver of red battery. It hasn't charged anymore or turned on in almost 30 minutes. Did I just lose my iPod??
It's been doing the same thing since then. Tried different plug-ins, USB's, computers, nothing.I'm really disappointed in Apple. I WANT MY IPOD BACK!
It isn't jailbroken. It's been charging overnight, no difference. I'm nowhere near an Apple store, and I don't have the money to pay the ridiculous price of $100.

Normally draining of battery on any battery operated device does not kill it. I have done that on my iPhone many times and nothing has happened, matter-of-factly I'm giving this answer from my iPhone. When my iPhone hits 0% it takes 30 to 45 minutes for it to charge up to about 15%. When Apple devices come to 0% battery they need to have at least about a 15% Battery charge to power back up. Also sometimes the device does that power back up on its own so you have to hold the power button same as when you would normally turn it on. If that doesn't work check the charger for charge the iPod on your computer.
Hope this helps and hope your iPod is ok. :)
