What happens if you eat undercooked chicken? PLEASE HELP!!?

I cooked chicken skewers for dinner tonight before my dad got home, and i had 2 before he got home and he said they were undercooked but when i ate them i saw no sign of pink. now i'm really scared and worried. what will happen to me ?? :(

i am also 15 i am so scared i don't want to get sick.

    They may NOT have been undercooked.

    to some people, like my late husband, if chicken was NOT dry, hard and tough it was undercooked. He simply assumed that moist tender chicken HAD to be undercooked.

    Without using a meat thermometer, there is no accurate way of knowing if the kabobs were undercooked or not.

    What will happen?

    Maybe nothing. Not all chicken is contaminated with salmonella.

    Its too late to do anything anyway. Wait and see.

    Since you saw no pink it probably wasn't really undercooked to a great extent. It may not have been undercooked at all. Maybe only a couple of larger pieces that your Dad saw were a little undercooked.

    But even if it was undercooked, not all chicken contains salmonella bacteria. If it does, then maybe, MAYBE you'll be sick to your stomach and have diarrhea for a day or two. If you do get sick go to the doctor and get an antibiotic. But you aren't going to die. Salmonella is a serious problem in the world, but you're more likely to make yourself sick with worry.

    I agree with the good answers and encouraging words from other answerers. You just going to worry yourself sick. The skewered chicken meat you ate could be well cooked and the one your dad got could have a random speck of look like uncooked meat. Unless it does show the meat has some bloody juice oozing out, its wise just to put it into the microwave and nuke for a few seconds to a minute to make sure. In any case, I prefer to nuke any meat even cooked well and left uneaten and get cold to reheat it to warm it up *

    loosen up and take some deep breaths. feels like your chicken became finished to perfection. As others have pronounced, white interior and clean juices is right. corporation skill overdone. And, in case you probably did consume it undercooked, no longer all chickens carry salmonella. comparable as no longer all eggs have salmonella. If all eggs had salmonella then all those weight lifters that consume uncooked eggs of their morning drinks could be leaning over the bathroom and filling the wellbeing middle wards - which they are not. the 1st time I fastened fried chicken i assumed all I had to do became brown it so I served it browned. My brother had the main important piece and after he cut back into it, he had pink on his plate. I served beets with the meal and advised him it became purely the beet juice. yet we observed there actually became a distinction in colour. And yet my brother did no longer get unwell in any respect. oftentimes once I cook dinner chicken now, I brown it in a skillet with adequate oil to cover the backside of the chicken.     Undercooked chicken can give you food poisoning, due to it containing bacteria

    it could make you sick and cause you to throw up for a couple days. If you start to feel sick you should probably see a doctor.
