What do you think of Scotland ?

In view of the somewhat moronic attitude of both Asker and Responder to the previous question on this subject , I am giving sane and responsible persons a chance to touch reality .

    Beautiful scenery, green, wetter weather than most of England but few floods or droughts, productive, friendly,

    Its not all perfect, but there are some great citys and expansive countryside to enjoy. I particularly enjoy Edinburgh, interesting architecture, good shopping & (surprisingly) great food. The rough bits are undoubtedly rough & the average rates for life expectancy are a bit lower than elsewhere in Europe, but there's a rich culture, a lot of history and a very strong national identity. Oh & free university education!

    Rather dull weather but a spacious place. Englands in a heat wave for god sake and they still get rain!

    Mostly uninhabited.

    Avoid the midland valley of Scotland. That bit is inhabited.
