Got andy ideas about this?

I have an Acer Aspire, Windows 64x Premium. My Windows Anytime Upgrade is processing and validating a key that was never put in, and many times when I go to restart, the computer tells me to wait while it updates. Then it cannot, and has to revert changes back to Premium. I don't quite get it...I didn't put in a serial number and cannot access Anytime Upgrade because of it. Atop of all that, it takes forever to reboot and restart half the time because it is supposedly updating, then reverting changes. Anyone got any ideas how to reset Anytime Upgrade and have the computer cut out it's crap!!? Thanks much.
