Ate Sushi and now...?

I have been having stomach pain for the last three or four days...

When I go to the bathroom, my Fesses is blackish and kinda flakie in a way. The texture is in between normal and diarrhea, it isn't like liquid or anything. So I am kinda worried. I had one bowl movement that was completely blackish then a second that wasn't blackish at all and my last bowl movement was partly blackish and partly normallish.

I don't have the money to go to the doctor, I went and got fiber one bars and im eating those now. Alkaselzer chewwies as well. So, has anyone had this happen? What helped? Its been days since I ate the sushi but others ate it to, nothing happened to them :/ Oh, it was Walmart Sushi xD I didn't know till later. But I only ate one roll.

Update:

I did some searching and found out that if it was blood, it would all be black. I had like two passing of black stool, now it is mostly brown and one was half brown half black. I've been eating more fiber filled foods and the pain is slowed and the black stool isn't really there now. Plus, I read bloody stool is foul smelling but now It doesn't really have that bad of a scent, nothing worse then normal. Now, after eating fiber. It really hardly has a scent and isn't black. I have pain still but I have pain often so I dunno. If it worsens I'll check it out. I don't think I have an ulcer but if it worsens I'll go to the doctor.

Any other ideas? I think it could be IBS or something like it.

I am pretty sure you knew that blood changes color after it dries.

Well, blood changes color in your digestive systems too.

Your descriptions sound a lot like bloody stools to me.

You should seek medical help ASAP because I think you got a bleeding ulcer somewhere.

Don't wait on this one bcause I don't think the problem will go away by itself. Don't wait until the symptoms worsens. Don't wait until it escalates to a massive bleeding ulcer. A massive bleeding ulcer will make you feel very dizzy until you eventually pass out. Definitely a very bad thing to happen while you're driving. If this happened while you're sleeping, there's a chance that you'll not wake up again. The best part is: Massive bleeding ulcers don't always feel painful while they occur and you might not get any "immediate" early warnings.

By the way, sushi got nothing to do with your conditions.

    Added:

Your body will try its best to repair itself and close up any open wounds. So, it is nice the colors of your stools changed from black to a more normal color. Unfortunately, it doesn't mean that you're off the hook already. A little blood won't make a noticeable change in stool color; you could stuff yourself with tons of rare steaks and you will not see a very noticeable color difference. Simply put, you need more than just a bit of blood to see ANY color change. If you are seeing something comparable to tar or if you are seeing red, then you need to call an ambulance right away because that is a strong indication of a massive bleeding ulcer. As for the smell part, well, bloody stools aren't the foulest smelling stools; the smells are potent enough to stink up your hair and clothing yet.

Ulcers could cause back pains. I don't know if you are feeling any back pains or even shoulder pains yet. Those felt very "normal" and most people will mistaken them as muscle pains. If you are feeling stomach pains followed by or mixed with back pains, then you absolutely can not procrastinate anymore. You need to make an appointment with a doctor immediately.

By the way, fibers will only make you go more regularly and possibly more often. High fiber diets are painful to many people who suffered from an ulcer.

    Hi,

I'm not a medical doctor, so ignore me, if you like...Your 'stools' should not be 'black' unless you've been drinking a lot of red wine, or eating dark foods such as beets (beet-root for non-Americans), many pounds of black cherries, or other really highly-colored foods or drinks. If the very dark stools continue for more than 3 or 4 days, you MAY have dangerous bowel problems which need a number of medical tests and you really MUST visit a doctor or a clinic to find out whether or not you have a serious problem.

If the black stools are 'intermittent', say, one or two days a week, on your normal diet, you almost surely DO have a problem, but it might not be very serious and the treatment could be very cheap, easy and friendly.

    Best wishes from 'the non-Doctor'.
