Would Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton help their causes better by staying away from them?
I think they are opportunists, insincere and chasing money. Sharpton seems like a normal hustler/ Jackson is a weirdo.

They have a reputation for being racist. When racial issues are concerned, their involvement often causes a lot of negative feelings, among people that would have stayed neutral, or for the cause.
I don't know if he's mellowing, or I'm getting more radical, but I find myself agreeing, with the crazy "Reverend AL" a lot of the time, especially on political issues.
Jackson's pretty narrow minded, and doesn't seem to consider the "big picture". Does NOT seem to have the welfare of our nation, in is list of priority's at all.

I don't think they mean harm to anybody.
Just like democrats and republicans, they have a common goal. They just have ways and techniques to achieve this goal that are different from other people's.

they would do better by perpetrating them to the farthest possible avenue. reason being is it puts money in their pockets. plenty of famous people have come forward in their support such as steve harvey and travis smiley. they are even more wacky than the two you mentioned.
