Is it wrong if I start a job over the summer and quit one month later because I have to go to college?

I received a call to start working in mid August and I have to leave 6 hrs away from home to go back to college in late September. Should I accept the job position knowing that I will start college in month after starting to work? Or will it be seen as wrong and unethical? Thanks

If you took a job that has a timeline attached to it and it doesn't fit your schedule, then you shouldn't take the job. If your references are checked, they can say you quit before the job was over. That's a bad thing to do because you have to be replaced and that's costly. If you tell them the truth and then they still want you to come...that's a different story.

yes of course you should, these companies will quite readily get rid of you if they dont need you. so this should work both ways.
