Is it bad that I look good wearing this?

I don't want to sound racist or nothing against religion, but is it bad that I look so darn good wearing a turban? Like I look really good wearing one and so masculine, it makes me want to wear one in public, but I am not of Islamic religion or anything of that sort. I don't have anything against middle Eastern people considering that several of my close friends are Middle Eastern. I feel powerful wearing a turban, I don;t wear one in front of people though of course not

It's bad that you believe an articule of clothing makes you powerful, yet you don't want to wear it in front of people where their reaction might belie your mistaken belief in your own power.

Seriously, articles of clothing can make us feel a lot of different things. A fedora like Indiana Jones wears can set women's hearts to racing, a slinkly gown can set guys hearts to racing, leather jackets can send hearts racing period. But different clothing means different things to different people. The Fedora invokes the kind of private eye/adventurer noir of the 30's and 40's, but to some folks it's an outdated headwear that looks weird on the farm. That slinky gown would look stupid at a farmyard picnic, just like daisy dukes would be out of place at a cocktail party in NYC.

But when we put those things on, we feel the "could have beens" that go along with our perceptions of that article of clothing. We can fantasize about how others would see us when we wear it, but deep down we fear that the reaction we fantasize about may not hold up under the harsh glare of reality.

A turban is fairly common piece of clothing to wear. Nothing wrong with wearing one so long as what you're wearing isn't considered sacred religion material or some sort of ceremonial clothing.
