Going to church a nice way to meet people?

It depends. Some churches have some very ageing populations. Some of the churches I've been into look like a snapshot of a nursing home. Other churches I've been to have had a much younger population, with young adults and university students making up the majority. For example, I'm 33 years old and in my current church I'm considered one of the elder folk. But last month I visited my Uncle down in Victoria, and I went to his church. There were a couple of young kids, but I'd say the average age was probably 55-60 years old, making me the baby of the group by at least two decades.

So if you have a young church with people your age, it can be a good place to meet people if you're new in town.

I've been going to church for the majority of my life, and most of the girls in church that I've known haven't been "good girls". Quite a few of them are big time party girls, and more than I would like to admit are now single mothers. There will be a few here and there that do stay away from the party lifestyle, but they can also be the hardest to approach, because they may not be looking for a relationship at the time. Have faith that God will lead you to the right woman no matter where you may meet her.
