what is the best trail cameras out there? and why?

I like Reconyx cameras, the shutter speed is very fast, they can take 2 pictures every second, night IR reaches 50 feet,very dependable and with a 2 gig card over 5000 pictures . Also the computer program that comes with them makes looking at a month or two worth of pictures easy . $375 to $650 is a little pricey

There are just a ton of cameras on the market now and most of them all act around the same.

The Bushnell, Moultrie, Cuddeback and Covert are all great models to look at and are all priced well.

Best is an opinion, why because people have them from trying them out so read the reviews.

This is definately a product where you get what you pay for. Spend $100 or more and you will be fine.
