Why do people find minecraft addicting?

your looking at a game that was made simply to help you create a whole new world to live in. Minecraft gives you the tools, environment, atmosphere to help you craft what ever you want to. Its more enjoyed when played on PC because this allows you to get mods to help change up the way you play. some mods provide you with an RPG type of game. while other mods consist of challenge levels designed by other players. now people hate the game because of the "graphics" and feel that its an incomplete game. its not ment to be that way. the 8-bit graphics give it that sandbox feel and adds to the overall unique gameplay. it helps to make the game different. its a game for those with big ideas and an endless imagination.

I imagine in my head what I would love to do when playing that game.. Even installed all the best mods, but I can't play for more than 10 minutes without saying. *** this, this game sucks heh

Because you can almost do ANYTHING & EVERYTHING you want. I played the demo on the xbox and couldnt stop playing it.. I like the game. Once you play it, you cant really stop lol. Its sorta like when you play GTA. Once you start, its hard to stop. xD

It's more than just blocks, it's a sandbox game where you can do loads in the framework.
