Help with ticket please?
So i got a ticket in Santa Monica and I live in Los Angeles. It was for "drinking on the beach." It wasn't my drink it was my friends but he was under 18 so I took the rap even though I am only 19. The Cop didn't arrest me(even though I thought he legally has too) I don't have a drivers license. Could they put points on my record if I don't pay even though I do not have a license? Other then a warrant what could they do? Would this ticket imped me from getting my license? I don't have a job as I am a college student so I really don't plan on going and paying or fighting as I can't pay either way. The system is so messed up, you have to pay to get a court date if you want to fight it... Yeah really innocent until proven guilty... Sorry that last part was a rant.
