and today, you're sorry about it but can't tell him/her because you have lost touch?

When I was 15 I was diagnosed with ADHD. This explained a lot, because I was a real dirtbag as a kid. I never was aware of it myself back then, but I was rude, violent, bullying and just really really inapropriate. But one thing I can never take back was the way I behaved towards those that were closest to me. I now have a twin sister who blames me for her depressions and anxiety. My dad does too. And that sucks, cause if I could relive my childhood again i'd probably be just the same. I never intended to be mean or hurtful, I just had severe lack of impulse control, and acted on every single emotional or other type of impulse. I also hurt my grandmother. My dad sent me away for a month to live with her because he needed a break. I was a real real *****. Now my grandmother has alzheimers, she doesn't remember me anymore. Might as well be a good thing, but that also means that I can never say I'm sorry, and so it'll stick to me for the rest of my life.
Physically, though, I rarely hurt other people. I defend myself if presented with an agressive meeting with another person, but I never start a fight (physical one).

Yes and yes. Have hurt many people & many times, unintentionally. I had a friend who was offended by something I said or did and no long speaks to me. Even after apologizing for whatever it was, she remains silent to this day. A friend she wasn't, or she would have forgiven after a sincere apology. So as the Biblical passage says (in Issiah, I believe), "don't look back" - keep moving forward. We all learn from our mistakes.
