What can I do to fix my hair?!?!?
My hair dresser said she was going to "point cut' my hair... however, it appears she thinned it out instead. She says she didn't thin it but I know she did. I can tell by looking at it and feeling it! It looks awful. It looks frayed and stringy and its so choppy ans thin. :( Help! What can I do to fix my hair? I do not want to lose any more length or fullness.

First of all, I'd write a NEGATIVE REVIEW on her on YELP in my city.
She obviously just did whatever she wants, and you're not happy, sounds like she did thinned it, the meaning for her POINT CUT.
Whatever they call it, it's thinned to me! Another reason why I seldom visit the salon. When I TELL THEM cut 4" from the bottom, straight away, they'd go & layer it. Did I say I wanted my hair layered? When I repeat, they will tell me: "I heard you the first time!" They know exactly HOW I WANT MY HAIR, They try to make me the guinea pig, or sloppy when I'm not like that! When I tell them to re cut my hair 4" off straight away, 2 hrs. later, it's cut 9" off the bottom. Mom who is not a professional can do it in less than 5 mins.
Wait for them to grow. BUT you can make your hair look thicker, but setting them in plastic curlers, or bobby pin, briefly blow dry, take them out, finger comb to style. Add gel, spike them up, make funky styles like they were meant to style that way - while your hair's growing. NO ONE BUT YOU will ever know, that it was not cut right.
