Do Republicans/Conservatives know that de-funding Obamacare is not going to stop it from being implemented?
Their last chance to stop Obamacare was during the 2012 election.

That's why it needs to be repealed entirely.
It was a moronic, train-wreck of a legislation, legislated by morons and signed into law by a moron while millions of morons cheered.

Obamacare, the other problems, and the resulting economic crash won't affect me. I'm already gathering the funds to settle in Germany.

It's really a shame, too, isn't it? Every single audit or analysis of Obamacare, by the CBO, by independent economists and by anyone who has read the law indicates that it is NOTHING like what it was promised to do. Despite the fact that a majority of Americans - NOT just Republicans/Conservatives but Democrats and union leaders realize that this is simply a bad law, a bureaucratic nightmare that has been patched together with bribery, coercion, quid-pro-quo and outright lies. Never before in American history has such a bad law had to be railroaded into being and then SOLD to the American people with a campaign that costs three quarters of a billion dollars.
The only people who actually support this law are blind Obama supporters - even his administration understands that this is an expensive bit of legislation that will cost far more to implement and maintain than it will help - and yet they press on because it's Obama's legacy - it is his signature "achievement", and they are playing a dangerous balancing act of implementing just enough over the next few years to make it look good, but stalling the real devastation until after he leaves office.
It's a sad day for Republicans/Conservatives who really want a free-market solution to our healthcare problems, but it's a sadder day for Liberals/Democrats who really want a true Universal Healthcare plan.
This is not it - but you don't see that. This will come close to destroying our economy, but we'll recover - which is more than I can say for any hope of a Universal Healthcare plan in the foreseeable future.
If not now, if not next year, it will be seen for what it is within the next few years and it will be repealed, defunded, dismantled and we'll go back to the drawing board. The problem is that by then, no politician in his right mind will bring up the concept of Universal Healthcare for a long, long time - the specter of this monumental failure will close those doors and "Universal Healthcare" will become a political hot-potato that no one who values his career will want to touch.
It was proposed as revenue neutral, but now it will cost 1.8 Trillion Dollars
It was promised to not be a tax - now calling it a tax is the only thing that prevents it from being unconstitutional.
It was promised to cover 30 million uninsured Americans - but now it has been shown that it will just swap one group of uninsured for another.
It was promised to benefit the workers, the unions - but now it has been shown to be far worse than the plan they now have, and they have turned against it.
It was promised that if we liked our own doctor we could stay with him, but now doctors are already starting to refuse to see patients on the plan.
It has forced more people onto Medicare and Medicaid - straining the budgets of those already nearly-bankrupt plans, and subscribers are turned away from more and more medical practices.
State after State is refusing to comply with the implementation schedule, refusing the "Medicare Deal" Obama is trying to force down their throats.
You like the National Health plan of England? France? Sweden? Canada? You think we're behind the times because we're the only industrialized nation without Universal Healthcare? Fine - but guess what? This is pretty far from any of those plans, and it will just about ruin your chances of attaining one.

I think Obamacare should be implemented as written ASAP as hard as possible, on schedule without any waivers. No exceptions. The only 'amendment' to the law should be to subject ALL federal employees to the state exchanges.

The only chance to stop it would be to repeal it with a veto proof vote in both houses of congress. E en then the progs and Obama would take that to the Supreme Court to be overturned.

No, I didn't know that. Probably because I'm not as clueless as you are and realize that without any funding no government agency could legally have it's people spend any time doing anything with it.
