Depends what condition it's in, doesn't it?

Why not go and inspect the thing if you're serious about it? No way can we ascertain a reasonable price for a vehicle without seeing it any more than you can, and anyone who buys a 25 year old van sight unseen is asking to be ripped off.

If it's in good nick it's worth the money. Is it in good nick?

£1,500 is steep for that. However Mercedes earlyer vans are bomb proof, my sprinter is on 245k now and its still smoother than my diesel Passat with 50k on the clock!

Its worth some money, but not £1,500. Its really worth a look though, but as said. Never buy a van without looking at it first. Be very mindful of it having been lashed up as well, and rust poorly repaired.

So hard to find a decent second hand van (over 7 years old-ish) thats not been lashed up.

I would pay £800 tops though, and thats if it is what the seller says it is. Also I would be using the fact it hasnt got tax as a bargaining point, vans really arent cheap to tax at all, my sprinters massivly exspensive to tax.
