Single parenting is hard. Period. I must say that I have a lot of respect for dads who do their daughter's hair, buys her pads, shows her how to love herself and how a man should treat her. Daughters and sons need their fathers. I've seen the effects of a motherless household as well butthere's a higher percentage of "broken" people who didn't have their fathers than those who didn't have mothers.

Males deffo us guys are clueless with babies, we learn from the females when it comes to caring business.

Male. They have the added pressure of their mates NOT being single parents and therefore NOT having to do the childcare, shopping, housework etc and not understanding when our Mr. Mum can't nip to the pub with them.

All respect to them and anyone bringing up children.

    Equally difficult.

Well morally I would say equally.

If we look at things due to economics and science you could say females simply because they are still paid less in some job roles. Scientifically because they are physically weaker and due to the fact that brain studies show that women have a larger emotional centre compared to males.

You could argue though that if males had children and had to leave work early for them etc they are still going to run into the same problems that women do.

A man can be physically weaker than a woman but according to a healthy pair of homo sapiens the male will be physically stronger. Meaning he will have more physical energy to look after children and work.

And the brain thing, it could be harder for him to get along with female children as he will be more logically minded so could lead to arguments and disagreements. BUT you could also say that for a woman with male children.

    SO ALL IN ALL BOTH

    depends on the situation.

a friend of mine got served divorce papers while he was in the hospital recovering from bowel surgery. he had to finish his recovery on my couch. why? his wife found some other guy she liked better.

he ended up losing the house he'd paid for, but had shared custody of the kids. so he was stuck with equal responsibility for the kids but no house to raise them in.

Both. It's just as hard for a man as it is for a woman.

I would think being a single parent and a male would be much more difficult.

female. not equally paid as males. However, if she finds the biological father, she'll take every penny he has ever made.

That depends - I would say it's harder on women if only because they make less money than men.
