Is there a free website that as it translate from one language to another it highlights the word it is transla?
I'm teaching myself how to speak and read in French and need a free website or app for android phone that will highlight each word as it reads it back to me. Google translate is pretty good but it doesn't show me which word it is pronouncing.
What I need is to hear how the words are pronounced. I have 2 of the same publications to learn from 1 in English & 1 French. So I have the correct sentence structure but what I need IS TO HEAR the correct way of saying the word in French.

WordReference is a very good online language dictionary. It even helps you conjugate verbs (past, present, and future-tense): http://www.wordreference.com/
I recommend using a dictionary over a translator like Google Translate because, most of the time, an online translator will give you a LITERAL transcription of the sentence you're trying to convert, which can sound grammatically or semantically nonsensical to native speakers.
For example:
French: "Est-ce que je peux allez au toilette?"
Rough English Translation: "Can I go to the bathroom?"
Rough Literal Translation: "Is it that I can go to the toilet?"
A translator may suggest the latter instead of the former.
Another example:
English: "I love you."
Spanish (Correct): "Yo te amo"
Literal Translation (Incorrect): "Yo amo te."
