What should I use on my hair ?

I have shoulder length brown hair. I do have highlights but I don't get them often. My hair is naturally wavy and a little bit of volume. I do straighten and blow dry my hair everyday ! I know it's bad but I need to. I'm looking for a shampoo and conditioner that will help make it okay after heat, make

It soft, and shiny and look healthy! I'm currently using tresemé recovery. I'm just looking for something new to use ! Please help! I'm willing to spend about $15 for

Both shampoo and conditioner !

Make sure you use heat protectant spray EVERY TIME you straighten or blow dry you hair. it minimizes damage. It doesn't mean that you still can't damage your hair, but its still better than nothing.

After straightening and blow drying your hair, use a natural essential oil on your hair to soften it and add shine. I strongly suggest Argan Oil, Grapeseed oil, Sweet almond oil, or coconut oil. These oils are light weight and wont weight down your hair. Apply it to the middle and ends of your hair and then brush your hair to distribute throughout your hair.

Deep condition your hair about once a week to help restore the moisture in your hair. You have to go out and buy a deep conditioner, you can do this with regular conditioner. Apply it after shampooing and then leave it on your hair or 10 minute, 20 min, or even overnight. i suggest putting a plastic cap over your hair. This will trap in heat allowing the hair cuticle to open up and allow the conditioner to sink into your hair. Rinse your hair with cool water . This will seal the hair cuticle and give you more shine

Do a protein treatment on your hair hair at least once a month. You hair is mostly made up of protein a lot of damage can cause your hair to lack in some protein. You can tell you hair needs a protein treatment when your hair is stretchy, and gummy when wet. You hair naturally has some elasticity, but when are in need of a protein treatment your hair will stretch, but not bounce back. If your hair just snaps without stretching, it needs moisture.

Tresemme is great! You can use the Platium Strength one or the Keritan Smooth! Or you can use Organix! Organix have many types of shampoos with Argan oil, coconut oil, etc! They are both great and cheap!
