When do I plant my lupin seeds?

I have bought some lupin seeds that I would like to plant in my garden this year. What time of year do the seeds go in and how deeply should they be planted?

I don't have them in a packet so no instructions.

I've tried google but all I get is lupin crops for food. Not very helpful.

Lupin seeds are ripening on the plants right now. In nature they will fall to the ground over the next few weeks. Why not follow nature and sow yours over the next few weeks too? Water the soil in a pot first and then sow thinly - about an inch apart - and give a very light covering of soil. Keep moist, and if the seeds are fresh they will soon germinate. Older seed may take longer.

You can either plant them in early spring, or the middle of spring. Put them in cold water 24 hours before you plant them. I don't think you should plant them to deep. If you want, can you please click on my profile and answer my question? If you don't want to though that's ok.
