How long will it be before man colonizes the moon?

There have been many predictions, but I would like an expert opinion about possible colonization in the future.

there will never be a full colonization of the moon. simply put, its gravity is too low to people to live permanently.

it may become a tourist destination (for the very wealthy and selfish type of people on earth)

and it may have colonies living in bio domes mining its resources....but to be honest, its more logical humans will terraform and colonize Venus of mars first...

Gliese 581g would be nice too, if we could get there.

We will probably never colonise the Moon bar the possibility of a few domes for Scientific purposes or billionaire tourists. The reasons are many - the prohibitive costs involved, the lack of any worthwhile minerals on or near the surface (and how do you get your mining equipment up there?) In addition, nobody could stay there very long, or they would never be able to return (the very low gravity would do irreparable damage to their bodies). You can certainly forget Venus - with a surface temperature of about 500 degrees C, atmospheric pressure of 95 atmospheres, raining Sulphuric Acid, no magnetosphere to protect you from the Solar radiation (much stronger whenyou are so much closer to the Sun) - it would be an absolute hellhole for the very short time you managed to survive in a dome. And we haven't even mentioned the cost of building & supplying a base !

The "experts" have no prediction, because there is no plan to do that anytime in the foreseeable future.

There is no particular point in doing that. The cost would be, ahem, astronomical, and the benefit marginal.
