Reboot issue when switching from dual display to single monitor?

Whenever I go to my moms house I have 2 monitors. When I leave to go to my dads I have one. Whenever I boot my computer when 2 monitors are plugged in it boots fine. When I go to my dads it doesn't. It won't turn on at all the monitor stays black. How do I fix this?

That's really hard to understand. So you what's your computer anyway, PC or laptop. I guess that's not a laptop, I just find it weird when you bring your entire PC with you. About your question, this could be the cause:

-If any of the 2 monitors from your mom's house is not the one in your dad's house: Your dad's monitor is broken, get it fixed.

-You plugged the monitor to an onboard/integrated GPU while using the dedicated Graphic Card, which will disable any onboard/integrated GPU.
