So I personally chose the Logitech G100s mouse for my gaming setup. It's just a regular old mouse with a wheel and a left and right button. The only addition to it's otherwise normal appearance is a sensitivity button that cycles through low, medium, and high mouse acceleration.

Basically what I'm wondering is what kind of mouse do you personally prefer. I see lots of my friends and people online who use Razer Nagas and other mice with tons of buttons but I don't like those. I prefer the 2 button setup and yes I do play genres like MMORPG's and MOBA games and it's doesn't hinder my playstyle at all. In fact I'm usually better than the friends who use said mouse. In the end though I'd just like to know what your personal preference is and why?

So for the past 2-3 years I have been playing around in game engines learning programming in both JavaScript and C# and now I am a Senior in High School and want to go to college for it next year. However, not a single college near me or even within a 2 hour drive offers any sort of courses in Video Game programming or even design. I don't want to move to a different state because I currently have a secure job that provides me enough money to live comfortably while I attend school.

So I want to know what school I should attend online and what kind of degree I should go for. Every school I find I check for it's credibility and I always find them to not be. I really would like help because this is the career I would like to do. Help would be very appreciated.

While leaving my college class I turned my car on to hear it struggling to stay on, basically running but chugging along as if it was at 500 rpms or so. I revved the engine and the car made a tinging noise like someone dropped a metal wrench in there and it was bouncing around. I attempted to drive home so I could do research and go get replacement parts but it started losing speed while still "accelerating" then just shut off. The engine didn't sieze because it will attempt to turn over but just a bunch of smoke pours out. If anyone has a solution that would be wonderful, I had a tow truck bring me home and I need to fix it as soon as possible.

My dad just got a gaming computer so he could play things like Battlefield 3 and Crysis with me. Unfortunately it gets around 20 fps with all settings on low. I want him to experience the game at 60fps the graphical quality really doesn't matter.

So basically I'm wondering what ATI card would bring it to 60fps on say Medium to High quality at around or under $100. If that's not possible I'd like to know the next best option. The rest of his PC has a 6 core AMD processor, 8 GB or RAM and I don't know about the power supply. I don't know anything about AMD or ATI since I have an Intel/ NVidia PC.

The i5 in my computer can be overclocked to 3.8 Ghz the problem with that is my video card will continually crash when the PC starts up. I've tried resetting the bios and moving the pins but my motherboard ALWAYS OC's the processor and I can't use my computer anymore? How can I fix this?

My computer ran the game perfectly fine without so much as a hiccup on high about 2 months ago, now no matter what the settings (even the very lowest) I have massive frame drops during combat. The specs of my PC are as follows,

Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz (not OC'd)

8Gb Corsair Vengence @ 1600Mhz

nVidia GTX 660 (EVGA Superclocked) 2GB VRAM

600W Power Supply

So for awhile now (can't tell exactly how long) I've had a stereo Razer something or other. Now I want to get a 7.1 surround headset since I do audio work, watch movies and play games competitively. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good quality headset like that. I looked into the Razer Megalodon but it has poor reviews for breaking quickly so anything but Razer and Turtle Beach are acceptable. Also it must be comfortable, my current headset is extremely comfortable to wear.

My girlfriend wants to get into gaming with me and unfortunatly her laptop doesn't run the games she wants to play. I want to buy her a more capable laptop for gaming, I use desktops that I build myself but she prefers laptops and I know nothing about laptops and what a good price for them would be. Any help would be appreciated. Also Windows 7 preferably.

I have a GTX 660 with the latest possible driver installed. It will be fine for awhile but at some point just start crashing like crazy. I have 5 120mm fans keeping it at good temp and the fan speed of the card to 60 which is the highest it will go but still it does it. I have no idea why and Windows is always switching to basic for no reason.

I want to buy tickets to WIIL Rock Fest but the Ticketmaster website is broken, not a single thing you click on works and I can't find anywhere else to buy tickets :(

Whenever I go to my moms house I have 2 monitors. When I leave to go to my dads I have one. Whenever I boot my computer when 2 monitors are plugged in it boots fine. When I go to my dads it doesn't. It won't turn on at all the monitor stays black. How do I fix this?

At my dads house my computer worked perfect, not a single thing wrong I moved it to my moms and now the display driver fails constantly with about 10 minute intervals. I've tried to install the drivers again but the whole computer crashes before its finished.

I need a really professional logo for my game to put it up on Kickstarter but I'm not an artist and cannot make anything really at all in Photoshop or illustrator. So could someone make a logo for me? Just really intense centered around an action game. The Logo would read "Floobles" and underneath it "TOTAL DESTRUCTION"

Right now in my Computer is a GTX 660. I want to buy a 690 soon when I save enough money for it. What I want to know is if I should keep my 660 in there to be a dual gpu with the 690 or give it to my brother whose looking to build a PC? My first queation is, how do I get the full effectiveness from dual Gpu's. Secondly, is the performance level rather significant from just one. Finally, I make YouTube videos, I plan to record the next generation games on the maximum settings. My other components in my computer easily meet the requirements but I'm wondering if the second GPU is neccesary for a solid 60 FPS or if the 690 is enough?

Before when I actually watched Tv I'd seen every episode of Spongebob there was. The problem is that I mostly watch Netflix now and haven't seen many new episodes. I left off at the season that contains Friend or Foe. What season was that and how many are there now? I want to get the DVD's.

I do YouTube videos as a hobby and I try to give the best quality I can, before my old laptop could run things at 30FPS so I recorded the game at 30 FPS. I now have a powerful desktop that easily runs things on ultra at 60 FPS but even when I set the setting to 60FPS in Fraps it records in 30. It's obviously a bug because it will start at 60 and drop down slowly. How can I fix this?

I had my windows 7 on 32 bit at first and it worked perfect, I decided to upgrade to 64bit because I didn't like the memory restriction and wanted to use my 8 gigs of ram. The problem though is now if I install a 64 but driver for the card it won't display anything, it will just be a black screen, you can hear everything going on in the background but can't see anything?

I have a 120mm fan that needs to be plugged into a male IDE connector but all I have left is female connectors from the power supply, so is there a cable I can get that's male on both sides so I can connect the female port of the fan with the female port of the power supply?

Hi, on my tower case I have 5 cooling fans, in the front is a 120mm blue led that came with the case, on top is just a black plastic 120mm and another blue led, I didn't want to buy an led fan but they only had one plastic one. The first front fan needs to be plugged in to an area on the front of the case near the HDD docking station. The problem being there's only one. Is there a way I can expand it? It's an IDE port.

I have 2 4gb ram chips and they are plugged into the 2 alternate slots, both of the blue but when I check task manager it says 1.89gb usage = 64%
