GTX 660 64-bit not working?

I had my windows 7 on 32 bit at first and it worked perfect, I decided to upgrade to 64bit because I didn't like the memory restriction and wanted to use my 8 gigs of ram. The problem though is now if I install a 64 but driver for the card it won't display anything, it will just be a black screen, you can hear everything going on in the background but can't see anything?

Remove existing drivers first (32 bit). Reset back to default Windows VGA, boot to 64 OS, and only then install the new 64 bit drivers.
