If Liverpool really wanted Christian Eriksen, wouldn't they have bidded for him by now?
Its just for a player with so much hype (imo overhype) he is relatively affordable so I can't see negotiation being the main issue. The "reported" Costa bid (if true) makes this question all the more relevant. He doesn't seem like the type of player Rodgers would go for though as he isn't the most mobile of players.

No he's a really good player... i just think the Suarez saga is unsettling the whole club and the board is refraining from buying players in case Suarez leaves and has to be replaced
i'd love to see us sign Eriksen.. they are leaving it a bit late but it could be down to anything like slow negations.. the team being on tour.. etc we could see the deal done before the window ends though.. still plenty of time

agreed he is overhyped but still good nonetheless and in this climate 20mill is absolute chips
