Atheists: How do you explain the hee·bie-jee·bies?

Is it something you ate? A chemical reaction? Or something that simply can't be explained by modern science?

    It's just instinct. Before we developed technology that could defend us we were prey animals. Those instincts that kept us safe when we were a wandering meal for big cats, wolves, bears, and other big hungry things, are still inside our brains. We still have that drive that tells us to stay in well lit areas, to be wary of strange sounds and to be cautious in certain situations. That is what the, "hee bie jee bies," are.

    Something I ate?

    Well, sort of.. When I eat brussel sprouts I get the stinky-farties.

    When I eat asparagus, I get the funky-smelling -pee-es.
