I just got mine done friday night, and i wanted to know how to clean it properly and whats expected as normal throughout the healing period.

Sea salt soaks twice a day for 5-10 minutes each soak with 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water.
They take 9-12 months to heal so don't touch or remove it until then. During the healing you can experience crusties, redness, little amounts of blood, soreness, swelling, lymph (white/clear/light colored discharge), itchiness, and at the beginning bruising.
If your piercer didn't tell you all this don't return to them.
