Yukon vs. Yukon XL... What is the difference?
I am looking at purchasing a used 2000-06 Yukon...
Other than size what is the difference?
Does the 5.3L Yukon (Tahoe size) more fuel efficient than the 5.3L Yukon XL (Suburban size)?

The only difference is size and yes the " Tahoe" is more efficient but just a little like 1 mpg and also if you go 06-07 their is about a 4 mpg jump in the years I think it's because of fuel injection.

the Yukon is more nimble and lighter, it is lighter so mpgs. will be a bit better, more power because its lighter
the XL is harder to park but has great room in the back, so if you have 3 kids, hockey gear, like camping, etc......go with XL
both have similar towing and engine packages, except for the Yukon XL 2500 with is heavy duty all around
