Why do some Jewish sects teach that it was good for Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit?

Some religions teach that the first sin, as typified by the forbidden fruit, was sex. So without sex there would be not human race. So they teach that sinning was good for mankind.
Like many other teachings of the religions of the world, they do not use the Bible to prove their point.
God told Adam and Eve to have sex.
(Genesis 1:28) Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”
The forbidden fruit was just as described in the Bible, fruit.
It symbolized God's right, as the creator of mankind, to say what was good and what was bad.

I have never heard about that.
I think it is always wise to seek what is the truth and teach that.
If Adam and Eve did not eat the fruit then one of us would have done that.

And like many posters on the internet you don't cite sources to prove your point instead preferring to make assumptions that may or may not be correct.
To be more specific, you may want to check if what you claim is something that is actually found in Judaism and not some other religion.

First, you need to understand that sects in Judaism is not the same as sects in religions such as Christianity. In Judaism, sects refers to level of religious observance, not differences in tenets.
That being said, Judaism does not say that it was good that Adam and Chavah ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Rather, a school of thought is that HaShem always intended for them to eat from this tree.
Why though. Humans are unique in all of creation in that we were the only ones to receive the gift of freewill. This is what is meant by our being made in the image of HaShem. Being made in HaShem's image is not literal as He has no form. Rather, it refers to our souls and the gift of freewill.
However, what is the point of having freewill if one does not know of both good and bad? This gift would be absolutely pointless if we could not use it. That is how we know that HaShem always intended for us to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
It's also important to understand that there is no 'original sin' or 'the fall' in Judaism. In fact, Adam and Chavah's mistake wasn't in eating the fruit, rather, it was that they attempted to hide from HaShem after the fact. They were punished for attempting to hide, not for having eaten the fruit.

Their specific action was wrong, but the result was intended by God for a reason.
We are mean to come to a fallen world to be able to choose right from wrong, UNDERSTAND right from wrong. Learn wisdom and faith. Gain an eternal perspective. In a pre-earth state, as spirits, we were completely naive and could not really grow, or reach our potential.
It makes ZERO sense that thousands of years of children would eternally be punished for one bite of fruit. This was part of Gods plan for us. He just needed them to *choose* it.
And its not just jews that see that as beneficial, LDS teach that as well.

Because if they had not, they would have remained in that state, knowing neither good nor evil, having no children, knowing no joy, and wasted their existence, and you would not be here.

Because you can't gain knowledge and wisdom without trial-error, and making mistakes and thus learning.
