Would you ever change your profile picture to a picture of yourself ?

I might in the distant future when I gain self-confidence, since I have practically zero confidence in myself, especially my physical appearance despite what others say x)

Plus, I love Luhan, and I like seeing his adorable face as my icon on here everyday xD Plus my name on here is his name, so that seems quite fitting. I might change to it to another one of my biases from his group in the future though, but for now and for a while it'll probably be him. It might eventually change to me, but I can't promise anything. There is a chance, though. I've never put a picture of myself online before though.. x)

No, but not out of fear of being found. I'm very open already about my life and have a Flickr with photos including a couple ones of myself.

I just think it's better if people come to their own conclusions about me based on what I write, not what I saw. I've compared it to the late 60's idea of Bagism in the past (because when DON'T I bring up John and Yoko? Ah, well, can't be helped):

Without all the superficial details of how you look in the way, everyone has to focus on what you're saying and take what they can from that. I know it's the Internet and I can be more easily found and I'm happy to be by people who are curious. But it doesn't mean I still can't test the theory out, and most people on here I feel do like me. Or I'd have been suspended by now.

Mine is. I don't know about anyone else, but I have had my profile picture as me for years, and as far as I know, no one from the real world has found me here yet. And it's been about 3 years. So yeaaa. I like seeing users pictures. I guess it's just curiosity. I get to match a face to the personality I read through the questions. Which is intriguing :3

I prefer to remain anonymous, and I also think that simply using a picture of myself would be sort of boring, so my profile picture is almost always of a video game or cartoon character. Right now, it's Lucario (from Pokemon), but I'm thinking about changing it soon.

Yea. But I changed it because it looked weird. I like my favorite bands picture better. I only had the pic of me for only like 2 or 3 days. Then I decided to change it

I did, but I felt like it was kinda boring and non-interesting so I made a theme instead to always have my picture be of a bad guy. It was going to be Alex from Clockwork Orange but I chose Tate Langdon instead.

I might, in fact in thinking about it. Probably not though because 1) I can't take good pictures of myself (I always look weird!) and 2) privacy reasons. I don't know, I might.

That's the same reason why I won't change my profile picture to myself. I don't wanna risk it.

I actually considered it once, but I really like my current one. And you always run the risk of someone you know in real life seeing it.
