Are the 2009 Jeep Liberty Headlights ground switched?

I have a 2009 Jeep Liberty Limited and I want to find out if the headlights have the switch on the ground (ground switched) or on the +12V side. I am getting Wig wags for the high beams (Fire Dept) and need to know which version to get.

Update:

I was told I needed some custom module for the wig wags, but their English was horrible and they didn't answer most of my other questions (tech support). Would the TIPM register a short if I supplied the 12V for the high beam from an external source (wig wag box)?

Thank you all again, and I need to find some of these service manuals!

    The headlamp system includes the SCM, the EMIC, the TIPM, and the left (lighting) multi-function switch on the steering column. The headlamp bulbs have a path to ground at all times through their connection to the engine compartment wire harness. The engine compartment harness has takeouts with eyelet terminals that are secured by nuts to ground studs on the front end sheet metal within the engine compartment. The TIPM will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for any shorts or opens in the headlamp circuits.

    The headlamps will be a fixed ground and switched 12V. I'm not sure how the totally integrated power modules (TIPM) work, being used to TJ era electrics. But, one thing that might stop a fault code being stored is putting a diode inline on the high beam wire so no voltage feeds back to the TIPM. A little voltage (and brightness) would be lost from the high beam when used normally due to the forward voltage reduction of the diode.

    The switch/relay is on the 12 volt side.
