The cat does not miss her mother or her brother or sister the cat meows because it is a new place and knows nothing about the surrounding area. Cats or kittens will do this when bought into a new place as soon as they get use to everything and everybody she will be fine. I have a kitten right now that does this when I bring it into the house and all I do is try to make him welcome and he is not alone.

Because the kitten misses mom and siblings. Should have waited till a minimum of 10-12 weeks old and the kitten would have less social problems. If you can, maybe consider adopting another kitten about a month or two older as a companion for your little one. Just be sure kittens are spayed/neutered by 3-4 months old.
Kittens under 6 months old do a lot better in pairs then as single kittens.

Cats meow to talk to people. Cats talk to each other with body language, not meows. When she is meowing, she wants to talk to you. She either wants your attention, or wants something from you. Sometimes cats meow because they are bored. Either way, there is nothing wrong with a cat who meows alot.

She misses her mother and her siblings. You didn't think there would be no consequence for taking her from her family did you?

She's probably exercising her lungs. Just like babies cry to exercise their lungs.
