WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH YAHOO COMMENTS SECTION?

Sorry about the caps :) But I can no longer access my comments. I am wondering if there was an upgrade a few months ago that cause problems for the comments section that havent been corrected yet (its been several months), but I dont think thats it becaseu I think the comments are still there but I just cant see them, so I wonder if they banned me personally from comments becaseu I was getting too mouthy about my critiques of the Yahoo authors and whoever designed the new GUI (so poorly >.<) ... ahem, OR is it something about my own browser being stupid and needing an upgrade. Anyone have any ideas or input about this.

Also, if my Yahoo Answers gets banned suddenly, I guess I will have my answer. But if thats the case, I vehemently disagree with the process and am outraged, incidentally.

Update:

Excellent answer from yazmin but the other poster might be more on the mark. I have seen comments on a few stories but most of them I cant see any.

It is possible that you have a bad cache file; Yahoo is infamous for corrupting cache files, for some reason. Sign out, clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then RESTART (essential) the computer and retry. This HELP link has instructions: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/se... .

You should also be sure that java, flash and your browser are updated. Or try a different browser or even a different computer, if that is possible.

But you should know that MANY users have problems with the comments part of the site, not just you, and that section is always having issues. So it may not be you.

As to Yahoo Answers, you don't generally get suspended unless you either break a BIG rule or have a lot of violations, especially within a short period of time.

I see most stories today do not allow comment. Some say it's because Yahoo! doesn't like all the anti Obama, anti gay, anti big government comments. Surely Yahoo! is a liberal driven, Obama worshiping, socialist propagandizing outfit, but whether this is the reason for the comments section being gone is anyone's guess. Considering the fact that the comments section brings in countless page views, that is to say, people visiting Yahoo's site, this translates into money in way of advertising, the more people who visit a site, the money money that site charges advertisers. So from this perspective it's unlikely the comments section will be gone for long.

Probably just another pathetic attempt on yahoos part to censor and crush dissent. Shows that as usual, yahoo has no clue about how they are viewed and how laughable their idiotic attempts at social engineering are and how they are driving people right into the arms of the ones they are trying to defeat.

Source(s): site-yahoo research -yahoo actions and that of their trolls who yahoo alleges are journalists.
