Is this a normal reaction to an adrenaline rush?

A little while ago i got in a fight at school. Just as the fight started i had this huge burst of energy and strength and a strange taste in my mouth, sort of metallic. The teacher (a large man, im a girl and im 5'11 and 78kg the teacher would have been 150kg and 6'4) grabbed me but i just wrestled right out of his grip and went after the b*tch again. When the fight was over i was escorted to the principals office and i was breathing hard and my muscles felt weak and a was shaking. At that point i stilll wanted to jump back on the girl i was fighting but i got enough reason back. Also i noticed i was injured but i felt nothing when it happened and it wasnt until 30 minutes or so later that i really felt the pain. I know that must have been adrenaline, but is that a normal reaction to an adrenaline rush?

Yes. You experience the fight or flight response, and it seems that you experienced more of the fight then flight. The metallic taste in your mouth is new to me, but if you are concerned about that, then maybe you should post this in the medicine section.
